Experience the power of water on your trip to the Zillertal Alps. The approximately 13 km long Schlegeis Alpine Road leads past waterfalls and natural stone tunnels to the Schlegeis reservoir. The ideal starting point for a hike with a leisurely stop for refreshments. Combine the toll for the Schlegeis Alpine Road with a dam tour and an information tour of the Mayrhofen power station. Around the Schlegeis reservoir, you will find huts and restaurants offering regional cuisine, inviting you to take a break. The services listed are only offered during the operating hours of the Schlegeis Alpine Road (mid-May to the end of October). Exception: The guided tour of the Mayrhofen power station can be booked all year round. Please note that the minimum time required only refers to the respective offer and is only a guideline for planning purposes. Transfer and waiting times to and from the destination, as well as the additional length of stay on site, are not taken into account.
Important: The Schlegeis Dam is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
All prices are valid for groups of 15 people or more. Special conditions apply to schools and educational institutions from the province of Tyrol (on request).

From the Breitlahner toll station, there is a height limit of 3.60 m and a length limit of 13 m for all coaches.
The distance from the toll station to Schlegeis reservoir is 7 kilometres. Plan a waiting time of no more  than 15 minutes at the traffic lights when you arrive. When you arrive at the Schlegeis reservoir, please drive directly to the signposted coach park.
The group includes at least 15 paying visitors. The group offer is only valid for bus tour groups. Individual travellers arriving by car are not considered to be a group.
Dam tours are only offered during the Schlegeis alpine road’s opening and operating hours (mid-May to the end of October).
Start times: At regular intervals between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Meeting point: The dam attendant’s hut on the dam wall, opposite the s’Raschtl snack bar.
Important: Please note that tours inside the dam wall are unfortunately not accessible. Groups of 15 people or more should please register in advance by email.
