The VERBUND power plants are embedded in a natural environment and therefore not always at ground level. The surrounding countryside is usually not wheelchair accessible either and therefore sometimes difficult to reach for people with physical limitations. This not only affects people with reduced mobility, but families with prams or older people. We are always trying to reduce barriers in the built environment to a minimum. Every visitor should be able to experience nature, technology, hydropower and electricity generation. There are also barriers in all of our information centres and tourist destinations, but there is always a solution. We make every effort to make your visit possible.
