May to October – daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
No. The Malta High Alpine Road is accessible 24 hours a day.
The day ticket is redeemable during the 2024 season: from 11th May until 27th October 2024.
You can find the most important questions related to online tickets here. If you have any further questions, please contact us from Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or on Fridays: 7:00–11:00 a.m. at tourismus@verbund.com or by calling +43 (0)50 313 23 201.
Open the webshop at www.verbund.com/schlegeis-tickets and select the desired category. In the next step, you choose the day on which you would like to visit. In the shopping cart, you then check your selection and complete the purchase process with payment.
After that, you can print out the ticket or use it digitally on your mobile phone or tablet at the Breitlahner toll station. Please note that free parking is included until the end of the respective calendar day. Multi-day tickets must be selected separately and must always be printed out and placed behind the windscreen.
The parking fee is included in the regular toll ticket until the end of the calendar day. If you are parking at the Schlegeis for several days or overnight, the printed toll ticket must be placed behind the windscreen of your vehicle. The multi-day fee is available under Toll Fees + Parking. Please note that the toll ticket is not valid for the car park at Gasthof Breitlahner.
If you did not receive a confirmation email of your online ticket when the payment process was completed, it is highly probable that the process was cancelled prematurely. In this case, check the transactions that have already been debited on your credit card and whether all of the requirements for a successful payment (details entered correctly, card holder authorisation, available credit, internet connection) have been met. If a charge has been made without subsequent email confirmation/the online ticket has not been sent, please contact us.
Yes. Tickets are also available at the Breitlahner toll station and at the Nature Park House in Ginzling. Please note, however, that on busy days and without a valid online ticket, we cannot guarantee access via the toll station.
We are happy to provide a discount to holders of a valid Zillertal Active Card, guest cards from the Tux-Finkenberg, Mayrhofen, Hippach, Zell-Gerlos and Erste Ferienregion regions in the Zillertal Valley, as well as holders of valid ÖAMTC and ARBÖ membership cards.
Select “Toll Fee Guest Zillertal Valley/Discount Partner” and show your ticket and your discount card at the Breitlahner toll station. Please note that your ticket will not be accepted without a discount card.
Yes. The toll for the coach is calculated based on the number of passengers. If the number of passengers differs from the number of people booked at the start of the trip, this must be reported to the on-site toll personnel. No-show bookings will not be refunded.
You can make a single change to your reservation free of charge until 6:00 p.m. the day before. Simply reopen the online shop and click “Amend booking”. Please note that it is no longer possible to amend your booking after 6:00 p.m.
In the event of a roadblock due to weather-related restrictions (snow, avalanche, torrential rain, landslide, rockslide, mudslide, etc.), the ticket can be rebooked once free of charge. Simply reopen the online shop and click “Amend booking”. If you do not wish to rebook, please send a message with a copy of your ticket (photo or PDF) and your bank details (IBAN and BIC) to tourismus@verbund.com. We will normally refund your purchase amount within 10 business days.
