Frequently asked questions
How does online ticket booking work?
Go to the ticket shop and select the required category. Choose the day on which you would like to visit. In the shopping cart, check your selection and complete the purchase process by paying for your ticket.
The ticket can be printed out or presented on a device. Please note that free parking is included up to the end of the relevant calendar day.
I am not sure whether the online payment process has been completed. What should I do?
If you did not receive a confirmation email plus your online ticket after completing the payment process, it is likely that the process was terminated prematurely. Find the transactions that have already been debited on your credit card and check whether all of the requirements for successful payment (details entered correctly, card holder authorisation, available credit, internet connection) have been met. If a charge has been debited but you have not received email confirmation or the online ticket has not been sent, please contact us.
Can I buy the access ticket on site?
Yes. Tickets are available from the ticket machine and at Kesselfall ticket office. Please note that there may be longer waiting times on busy days (weekends and holiday periods). To shorten your waiting time, simply buy an online ticket.
I have a guest card. Will I also receive a discount when buying online?
Unfortunately, no discount can be granted for online purchases. Please purchase your ticket directly from Kesselfall ticket office and show your discount card. Important: Holders of a Zell am See-Kaprun summer ticket do not need an additional ticket. Transfer is possible with a valid summer ticket.
We grant a discount for the following guest and bonus cards: ARBÖ membership card, Felbertauern bonus card, HochKönig Card, Holiday Bonus Card (Bruck-Fusch), Kitzsteinhorn mountain and bathing ticket, Maishofner holiday discount block, M+ guest card, National Park summer card, Saalbach Joker Card, Saalfelden-Leogang Card, Salzburg family pass, Piesendorf-Niedernsill guest card, ÖAMTC membership card, Viehhofen summer card, Krimml-Hochkrimml guest card

What should I do if the road is closed? Can I rebook or cancel my ticket?
In the event of a roadblock due to weather-related restrictions (snow, avalanche, torrential rain, landslide, rockslide, mudslide, etc.), the ticket can be rebooked once free of charge. Go to the ticket shop and click on “Amend booking”. If you do not wish to rebook free of charge, please send a message with a copy of your ticket (photo or PDF) and your bank details (IBAN and BIC) to tourismus@verbund.com.
