Module A: Ascent and descent

Europe’s largest open inclined lift and transfer buses will take you to the Mooserboden Reservoir at an altitude of 2,040 m. Breathtaking views guaranteed! Minimum time required: 1 Hour per route.

Module B: Dam Tour

Explore the inside of the 107-metre-high Schlegeis Dam in the company of a guide. A unique look behind the scenes of hydropower.

Minimum time required: 1 Hour

Module C: Power plant tour

View the Hauptstufe power plant in Kaprun and the inside of the dam at the Mooserboden Reservoir, accompanied by your personal guide. Take the opportunity to learn all about the legend of Kaprun and the construction of Austria’s most important power plant.

Minimum time required: 3 Hours

Module D: Info tour

At the Hauptstufe power plant in Kaprun, you can learn about electricity generation using hydropower all year round. Minimum time required: 1 Hour

Combine your trip to the Mooserboden Reservoir with lunch at the Mooserboden mountain restaurant. The two-course menu consists of soup and a main dish, excluding beverages.
